Brad Treliving Named New Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager
Former NHL Defenseman, Son of Jim Treliving
Former NHL defenseman Brad Treliving has been named the new General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The news was announced on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Treliving is the son of Jim Treliving, the owner of the Boston Pizza restaurant chain and a longtime host on CBC's Dragons Den.
Treliving played 11 seasons in the NHL for the Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, and Montreal Canadiens. He recorded 306 points (63 goals, 243 assists) in 795 games.
Jim Treliving Congratulates Son
Following the announcement, Jim Treliving took to social media to congratulate his son. "I'm so proud of Brad for achieving his dream of becoming a General Manager in the NHL," Jim Treliving said. "He has worked hard for this opportunity, and I know he will do a great job in Toronto."
