The Los Angeles County medical examiner's office has ruled that Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley, died of a bowel obstruction.
Details of the Ruling
According to the examiner's report, Presley's death was caused by "cardiac arrest due to a bowel obstruction with significant contributory factors of hypertension and ischemic heart disease." The report also noted that Presley had a history of drug abuse, including taking opioids.
Presley was found unresponsive in her Calabasas, California, home on January 12, 2023. She was rushed to the hospital but died later that day at the age of 54.
