Starting Quarterback Out With Undisclosed Injury

Backup Quarterback to Start in Perkins' Absence

The starting quarterback for the University of Michigan, Blake Perkins, will not play in Friday's game against the University of Ohio State.

The university has not released any information about the nature of Perkins' injury, but it is believed to be related to a hit he took in last week's game against the University of Wisconsin.

Backup quarterback Cade McNamara will start in Perkins' place. McNamara has appeared in three games this season, completing 18 of 35 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns.

The Wolverines are 9-1 this season and are ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Buckeyes are 10-0 and are ranked No. 1.

The game will be played at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
